When a member first joins the website as a Standard or Platinum member they will receive Welcome Points from us, just to help get them started. Points are only given out as a welcome bonus in the first year of membership, and not in subsequent years.  

Of course, that’s not the only way you can get your hands on some Points! Should you need more Points for any upcoming trips, you can Borrow Points from us.
