Congratulations, you’ve created a Love Home Swap account! Now you just need to follow these simple steps in order to find the perfect property to swap with:   

How to search for home swaps

Head to our main search page by clicking the Love Home Swap logo on the left-hand corner of the page or by clicking ‘Search homes’.

From here, simply enter your destination of choice in the search bar which runs across the top of the page and click 'Search’ to be presented with homes in that area. 

How to use search filters 

Once you’ve searched for a location, there are multiple filters that can be applied to your search results to find exactly what you are looking for. The basic filters (for location, dates, duration of stay and how many people will be travelling) are located alongside the destination search bar. 

Further advanced features can be accessed by clicking on ‘Filters’ underneath the search bar. 

This allows you to find the perfect home for all your swapping needs. These filters include:  

• Type of home: Whether you are looking to swap in a vacation home or main home.  

• Kid-friendly: Are you looking for a family holiday, or a break that’s just for the grown-ups?  

• Different swap options: Are you looking for somewhere that’s pet-friendly? Or other home swappers looking to travel in your area?  

• Home-style: Looking for a trip by the sea? Something in a rural setting? Or maybe you’re after a ski chalet? Whatever you want to find, these filter options have you covered!  

• Features: If you’re after something really specific – like a home with a pool, a cleaner and a gym – then these handy filters will help you find exactly what you have in mind.
